WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY CONT.....

You know deciding to have weight loss surgery was truly not an easy thing to decide on having as it is a rather big decision and surgery is also.

I spent many nights researching what the best weight loss surgery was for me and what I would benefit from in the long run.

I knew I had to do something for my health as i was so big that Igbo didn't do something about it, who knows what would happen, but also because I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and wanted to be able to carry my own child one day (more on this in my next blog).

With choosing to have Lap band surgery, I had to come to terms with the fact that I would need to eat smaller portions, there would be days when food would not go through the band and i would need to bring this back up and also come to terms with the fact I would never be able to eat foods like pasta, pizza, burgers, rice, sushi, bread etc.. but you know what?? I am so so ok with this because those foods were the ones I ate constantly and constantly binged on and got me to that big figure of 157kgs, so I was truly ready to give up those foods and go through the battle of bringing food back up or days were my band was just too tight to want to allow food to go through and had to stick to a liquid diet for a few days.

I'm still not at my goal weight and that's ok because I am only about 6kgs of it, and I know I will get to that goal weight of mine.

Look there are days were I can pig out on foods or junk foods and I'm also ok with that because I am human and still can have naughty days, but I always remember to keep on track and watch what I'm eating and drinking to ensure I don't put on too much weight and keep on track.

It is important to keep on track and strive for your goals and what you want in your life.

This first photo was Oct 2016.

The second photo was about 4.5-5years ago and I am so so sure I was more than 157kgs here and it truly disgusts me that I allowed myself to get so so big.
